2011 sync lock pick
Has anyone used a lock pick on there sync? I like that I can add extra cameras and end the passenger can enter addresses in motion. looking for feedback.

Looked at the "air" version, but don't see it worth the extra unless I can get it to speech to text for text msg.

Here ya go:
Sync Lockpick Install and Impressions - 2011 Superduty
I had so much to say about the lock pick I had to break it into three different posts.
I've had it installed for a couple years now and it is still working like a champ.

THANKS!!!!!
Just to make sure that your info will work on MY 2011 F450 KR with sync, what color is you truck?
Just for clarification, you did get the second camera to work when needed and the factory camera still works like it did without the lock pick installed when the second camera is not on?

White Tricolor with Arizona Beige lower facia.
I had to completely disconnect the factory camera, even though the pass-through connector is available on the lockpick. The only way to get the factory camera to work is by disconnecting the lockpick from the system - not un-installing the software, but disconnecting cables.
This is the biggest disadvantage of the lockpick, IMO. It would have taken a small design change and a few lines of programming code to install a switch in the lockpick to turn the factory camera on and off. The camera video obviously goes to the lockpick since it is connected to cables that go to the lockpick and then back to the display and the fact that it is able to interfere with the other cameras. BTW, not sure if I mentioned it in the other thread, but I did verify this problem with the manufacturer.

I am running the air version. Everything works well. I screen cast my tablet with torque pro on it for gauges.
Video quality is not as sharp as I would like it.
I have factory reset camera working as such no issues.
I installed a front camera no issues
And will be installing a bed camera soon
Hope this helps.
