Ford factory topper

I know quite a few like these so I figure would out it on here and the for sale thing. I have what seems to be a deluxe model without sliding side windows. I'm tired of bumping my head on it! I'm in south central Pa, pm me for anything else.

I wish you were closer....

Four-eyed pony below it? And a convertible too.... my convertible is stuck in the garage.... It's been raining for days out there on the libtard coast.

Ya figures we're a little too far apart.

I never thought I'd like convertibles till I owned my first one. I wish I didn't sell that one but I know where it's at and check up on it time to time. The current owner is getting old and said he'd like to own it a few years yet then it may be my turn again. That one is a 88 with 60k on it.

This one is a 86 Gt my mother had owned for I think 17 years before I bought it 3 years or so ago. It's not bad but far from perfect. I think this one has 92k on the clock now. She bought it with about 40 on it.

The weather kinda sucks here too for this type of car. I need to get at it and put valve seals in it before it gets to be spring time. I've only been telling myself that for about 3 years lol.

That's a nice one.. a GT too... with the phone dial wheels.. and it hasn't been "pimped" (Thanks Mom!) That's a keeper as she is and it has family history.

Cool pup! He/she got a name? My family had a German Shepherd named "Chief". He was smart... too smart sometimes. And a big goofy lumbering 110-pound hulk as playful as a four-year old. I miss his dorkiness.

Here are my ponies.. (Dunno why my phone's camera distorted the 68 ). The 360 has been forlorn and begging to get out to stretch her legs. Convertibles let ya really connect with the landscape...good or bad. I can smell folks grilling steaks, garlic farms, roses, pine forests ,.... and while driving back from LA... Harris Ranch's feed yard in Coalinga (Whew! ). Harris Ranch Beef Family of Companies

I'm glad this car wasn't too molested. I like the fact this one is 5spd too like my other one. It see,s like convertibles stood a good chance being auto.

My dogs name is Bruno there in the pic. Unfortunately he's no pup anymore and is about 10 now. I guess the good thing he easily passes for a 5yr old dog. I love the gsd and their personalities too. I've always had them and most likely always will.

I think you're convertible isa little better than mine lol. The only Ferrari I've ever driven was at a driving school. It was a black 2014 458 Italia, I really liked it but I'm borderline too big for it height wise. I hate to buy another mustang but I'd like to have one like yours in a convertible if it was reasonable.

Good to hear!

"Better" is relative. I can attest Ferraris can be fussy.... usually over complicated for the simplest things. My convertible top has like eight microswitches. Mustang? Maybe two to four I figure. Heaven forbid it breaks!

I have also learned how to induce a Check Engine light. Seems the ECU can be easily confused based on throttle position, shifter actuation, and speed.

458 eh? Sweet. Did ya get to open it up? Speed-wise?

Yea to a FTE memeber.

I'm very familiar with German cars and there quirks so I can only imagine owning a Ferrari.

That's interesting with the check engine light I'm not sure I get that.

Actually I did get to run it as hard as I could as long as I listened to the instructor sitting next me. I was actually a little worried about that when I got there till I saw the wheels had rubber stuck to them and the rotors were blue! The one I drove at the time had I believe 600mi on it with the plastic still covering the inside lol. They allowed them to be run in race mode which was cool. I really liked the way the car felt overall and was a blast to drive. It was so much different than what I'm used to. It was definitely fast but not what I call fast. The top end power was awesome but kinda reminded me of a sport bike motor in a car as it really lacked good bottom end. I do realize it's not that kinda car though so I get it. I'd say it felt like a very refined Italian sports car borderline race car which would for sure get me in trouble lol.
I did get a extra 2 laps out of that deal because I kept running down the people that were staggered ahead of me. It was a good day I turned the 2nd fastest lap out of everyone. The guy that went faster also drove the 458 but it was his second time so he had a little advantage.
