STEP PLATES NEED HELP
My step plates are pretty trashed. Does anyone know what is a good cleaner that will clean these up? Here are some pics so you can get an idea of what I'm dealing with.




This is after a soft wire wheel.



Corrosion after wire wheel



Untouched corrosion



Yikes! Both sides are like this. I'm thinking I'll just cut out the corrosion and maybe use an epoxy to add new alum?

I'm in the same boat as you are 72CC. The New England weather sure takes its toll on these old trucks. Looks like it's time for a new pair.

D.C.says that they are out of stock and not sure when they will get some more. are they waiting for the ship from china to come in.?

Funny thing about DC I ordered front cab mounts and they are made in the USA, but the floor pans came from blue oval groop made in Taiwan I wish the floor pans were a little thicker
