You HAVE been busy!

And I missed it all, too!

How did that big ol' "X" across the back window disappear between the first and second photo?

And, whose shop is that?

The big ole x hadn't been installed yet in the first pic. I just wanted to show you where it's at in the build process so I chucked that dolly pic in. The shop is called Custom Built Machines. It's up in Chatsworth and belongs to an old street race buddy John Schiess. He has been kind enough to let me work on it and kind of be my guide and sounding board for what I want to do. He is a supremely talented guy. When I get to jobs I don't have the experience (or talent) to pull off (like the roll bar) I have him do it.
Jim it's a fake GT 350, which is why I have no problem cutting on it. If it was a real 350 I would only restore it.

I do have much respect for the "holy grails" of Ford. For instance K code mustangs. It is pretty interesting these days that even A code (4 bbl 289) mustangs are starting to bring bigger dollars so people are not wanting to cut on anything. But for me it's the historically relevant cars that we shouldn't touch and only restore. For instance K codes, 350s, 500s, and of coarse the Bosses.
Wish I had one or two of those.

A 1969 GT500 in black would be my premiere Mustang.

Too bad Ford did not let the Shorty go into production.

I want one. Or maybe I'll just buy a Mustang fastback and make my own. (insert evil laugh)

That Milano looks sweet. I wonder why they did not make that for the masses. As for the twin stick truck, way too much shifting for me. LOL
