The regular cabs don't have the second resonator. They are slightly louder, but not a major difference. Sounds good in my opinion. I'm going to delete both resonators and run the factory muffler.

my 2015 super cab short bed only has the 1 resonator. was wondering if it would be louder minus the resonator and leave muffler OR leave the resonator and take off muffler, of course both with pipe replacing whatever was removed?

You either have 2, or someone removed 1. The first one is made as the y, were your 2 down pipes come together into 1. The second is the small round one right in front the muffler. I assume the later is the one you want to replace with pipe. Simple to do with some 3" stainless pipe. The replacement piece for the front y is 54739 made by dynomax. Not nearly as cheap as a piece of 3" pipe.
