True. I was hoping to get it through the summer because my wife should be getting a promotion later in the year. Her boss, who is the town assessor is retiring and it appears that the town board is going to offer my wife the assessor's position. They had approved to send her and pay for the week long class that she took last week. If she gets what the going rate is, her pay should at least triple maybe a bit more. That would make paying for it a lot easier.

I have my eye on a few all ready. Now I can really "look" and not get harassed by my wife with her gripping about pulling into dealer lots to look...lol.

The biggest thing is to figure out if I want another extended cab or go with a crew cab. There are pros and cons with each.

The crew cab is nice. Good to have extra room when going shopping and not having to cram things in..

Plus more stomach room.. Although you require less of that now...LOL

My wife would prefer the crew for the additional, secured room for going shopping or taking trips. I am not crazy about the 5.5' bed because I prefer not to have anything longer than my current one. That is why I kinda like the extended cab, but I don't have the hauling needs that I did before.

I have the 6.5' bed and I have plenty of room to haul stuff.. The 8' bed would make it to long..

Yeah, with a SD Crew cab, you get the 6.5'. A long bed is too much in my book. A lot of places that I currently go to, my extended short bed can be fun to park.

That they are. I do not want to have the need to take up two back to back parking spots.

One thing that I do not have to worry about with currently parking in the handicapped spaces.
