Bouncing Idle and pinging. *(HELP!!)
Back to the point, ive had the timing set mechanic said that it was at 0 and should be set to 5 but had to set to 10 to get the engine to stop dying.
Well no surprise the monkey i bought it from didn t put anti seize on guess what he put the fuel filter on a__ bkwards. Ive gotten it pretty well straighted out, radiator flush, xfer case oils changed, oil, plugs, plug wires, distrib cap and rotor, O2 sensor.
running better but still have that little fluctuation in idle at lights, idle is staying about 6-700rpm where i believe it should be.
My question is, do i need to scrap all the sensors and replace them? Knocking sensor? and other sensors
Ps: also have rear diff that has bolt stuck in it to drain can this be drilled out and hexicoiled?
Pss: I'm getting about 10mpg, starts on second turn always, first key turn appears to have trouble, also getting noise out of the fuel pump which im assuming needs to be changed.
have 137,000 miles, I take extremely good care of cars once i get ahold of them last question will it last for 190k or better possibly?
