Reinstalling original radio?

So I have a 1990 F350 that at one point had the original cassette deck AM/FM radio replaced with a Blaupunkt Alaska RDM 168 CD player/radio. Long story short, I would like to have an AUX cord to play music from my phone, and reinstalling the factory radio and using a cassette-to-AUX adapter is cheaper than buying a new radio with an AUX jack (I also like the OEM appeal of it). Has anybody had any experience with Blaupunkt radios? From the looks of it, the new radio has the same dimensions and no cutting seems to have been done to the dash/console. I hope that it uses the same wiring harness, otherwise I'll have to spend a couple hours putting a new(old) one back in. Any advice/information helps. Thanks!

Well if it was installed correctly to begin with, all you will need to do is remove the stereo, remove the install sleeve, and unplug the wire harness adapter.

If they cut into the original, I would find a cut off original, re-wire it up, and use it that way.

Sure... I guess... those stock radios sound pretty terrible though... but nobody is gonna steal it!!
If you are lucky whoever installed the Blaupunkt used an adapter harness so going back to stock will be plug and play.

Awesome, thanks guys! I just wanted to double check before I got elbow-deep in a project and then had to stop or pull out the soldering gun unexpectedly.
