Transmission Swap possibility
Hi all;
I've got a 1997 F350 Diesel 4x4 Crew Cab with a blown E40D tranny (seal went and wife kept going).
My question is whether or not a tranny from a 1991 F150 Gas 4x4 regular cab 4x4 is the same as mine(the owner said it is a E40D but I haven't looked). I can get it cheap and I'd like to put it into my 97. Would this be possible?
