Which shift kit
I need to purchase a shift kit as the mush shifting is not something that i care for too much. Now the tranny temps are not getting above 180 degrees but that slow slipping shift between gears make my a$$ pucker at the thought of repairs. I know that the kits run around $50 but was curious as to which kit you guys are using. I have the Superchips tuner and the shifting with the chip is so damm mushy.

Which shift kit
Transgo is about the most common shift kit - I run one in a sports car I have, that is really good. The custom work done on my truck in April used the Transgo pattern though not the actual kit.
My truck's shifting is now immediate, and can be a little jerky, which is good for the tranny, but a little uncomfortable, until you get used to it. There is no mush left at all.
