Shifter
I have a 92 ford f150 with a 302 and aod transmission.
I have a shifter on the steering column. The other day, I broke the shifter plunger and outside tube while trying to get the truck into park. I replaced the parts that I needed in the steering column. Afterwards, I went to shift the truck into gear and it is still locked up. I remember the truck being in drive so I adjusted the shifter to be in drive. After that, I still wasn't able to shift to any gears. Any ideas out there? Is it possible the linkage cable is bad or is the tranny bad?
