I have a 94 ranger 2wd with a 302 and an AOD, I purchased the 3/4 DJM I beam drop kit and have it all installed but when I drive the truck backwards the front wheels drop in to almost negative 4 camber, I put it in drive and move forward and they straighten back out, I can drive it all over the place with no shimmies but as soon as I reverse the wheels drop in, I have replaced all the ball joints again, (they were new when I put the kit in) and still the same thing. I contacted DJM but they are no help. anyone else have this problem. I am 51 years old and have a lot of experience working on cars but I am stumped
This is not really the right forum to ask this. You might do better asking in the specific Ranger forum for your year.
But I will ask - are all the original bushings in good shape? Did you tighten all the bolts that were affected by the kit? And are there sleeves or some other inserts that were left out?
