I just drained the tranny on my 94 F-250 Powerstroke with the ZF 5 speed. It drained 8 quarts of oil. I could only put a little more than 4 in. I put 1.5qts in the t case. Did someone just over fill it before or does it take 8 qts? Thanks

 

My manual says approximately 3.4 US Qts of Mercon.
