is there any extra machine work necessary when installing a 408 rotating assembly in a 351 w? Can anyone tell me the specifics on the different deck height on 351w

The pre-'70 351W blocks had a deck height of 9.48", after that they are 9.50". Depending on the particular kit, look to provide clearance at the bottoms of the cylinders for the rod bolts and the pan rail area, especially around the oil pump.
