EEC or non EEC? Speed Density or MAF?

1989 F-150, 302. I go to the 'zone and start building a list and I get asked if it's an EEC IV or non-EEC engine. Ok, how do I tell? Pros/cons of each? TIA!!!

Oh boy. You need to go somewhere other than Autodrone...

Your 1989 F-150 w/302 has the EEC-IV computer running the fuel injection, etc. By 1989, all F-Series gas engines had an EEC. Just entering 1989 Ford F-150 should have come up with that.

Speed Density. MAF on a 302 came in something like 1994/95?
