Sputtering
Having an intermittent sputter.
07, f360, 6.0l
210k miles
manual transmission, performance transmission
Newer injectors with around 20k or less.
egr delete kit, new turbo wheel, blue spring, rebuilt fcim, edge display, blue spring
symptoms: Blue smoke on a cold start. Sputters cold and warm. Seems to fire right up, and idle fine, with a slight miss. Low power, and towing is like a dead dog. Happens on acceleration and crusing, all gears. Worse at around 1500-2,000 rpms. No codes. Fcim is a constant 48.5V - 49V. Injector contribution checks out. New icp, new ipr, voltages check out. Replaced fuel filters several times. Any ideas? I'm working on checking fuel pressure, but waiting on a backup truck at the moment
Edit: Tested fuel pressure. 58lbs on idle, and 52 under load. Seems sufficiant. Was having a number 8 contribution code, but pushed the injector wire on, snapped, ran better, but far from perfect. Now, showing a P0278, number 6 contribution code. I've removed, and re-attached the injector connection, no change. Runs terrible, like number 6 isn't firing at all. Any ideas?
