I get the same thing from the cotus sites, but I have a window sticker. I am able to get basic info from FordETIS: FordEtis home page

 

Wwwqa cotus is the only one I ever got to work and at certain times of the day it doesn't work either I wonder if the problem is with drw I tried cotus the other day for a guy with a drw and got the same response as you. I am getting a 250 so it is srw. Anyone on here been able to track a drw superduty on cotus?

 

I'm ordering a SRW 350, so its not a dually thing. Maybe its a 350/450 thing since maybe its considered commercial and via a different site?

 

same results (none) for me on any/all of the cotus sites and etis. today was the first I tried for the window sticker... looks like what I ordered. I was informed that the date at the bottom of the window sticker was the vehicle's build date. guess that was incorrect info (or not)? i'll take getting this far is a good sign, ETA from dealer was first week of march.

 

COTUS updated on 2/3/17 to show In Transit with a delivery date of 2/6/17. This is six days earlier than COTUS showed for estimated delivery yesterday when status was still Awaiting Shipment.

Summary of progress:

In Production - Completed 1/31/17
Awaiting Shipment - Completed 1/31/17
In Transit - now
Estimated Delivery - 2/6/17

I should note: This truck is going to a Dealer in Indiana. It is, I assume, delivered from the factory by car hauler and apparently only takes a few days. I feel for the guys farther away who have to wait for delivery by train.

Note also, my dealer emailed me in early December to advise that truck would be built week of January 23rd. On January 18th they advised that the truck would be on their lot by 2/6/17. Both dates appear to have been exactly correct.

The only bad part is that I will not be able to take delivery until Saturday February 18th.

 

I have a Vin number and Cotus isn't coming up with anything either, my dealer shows it to be built 2/11/17 and ship 2/24/17 and received 3/2/17. But yea can't get anything pulled under cotus. My dealer is telling me all my info.

 

For me the dealer was exactly right on everything - so not sure late updating data from COTUS is of any real value anyway.

 

For right now I just want my damn window sticker. lol I want to make sure everything is going to be on the truck and see what kind of price increase if any since I ordered in Dec.

 

About $ 500.00 increase since I ordered my platinum in December

 

I get the same message on COTUS as the above poster is getting that vehicle can not be found. I got my window sticker on 2/1 and ETIS and Cotus both don't provide any update on the truck or that the VIN is even recognized. Frustrating that Ford doesn't have a better method to show progress of truck or at least provide a timetable of when order information will be available along the way so we are not continually checking a sites to get updates. I would be okay if Ford had a page on their order site that said something like this:


VIN available within 10 days of order
Window Sticker available on www.#### approximately 10 days after VIN
Build date available on www.### approximately 10 days after WS
Shipping and ETA available on www.#### approximately 10 days after build completion

 

Same here, all dealer supplied info and cotus?...both sites no workie 4 me.

Mine is a Platinum DRW, not sure if this is a tracking snag as mentioned prior?. I have the VIN#, dealer says expected in-date is Feb 28 - Mar 6. I live between Syracuse and Rochester (NY), so not sure if that's train to hauler or just hauler.

I'm 8 weeks out from my order of a 250 Platinum Ultimate. Spoke with dealer yesterday and still no VIN. I just tried entering on Ford Custom Order Tracking | ordertracking.ford.com and got nothing again. Then I entered my info on wwwqa.cotus.ford.com and it returned a 2017 F-150 XL that was ordered 3 days before my SD (12/06/17) and already delivered to the dealership on 1/18/17. Do they re-use order numbers?

 

Have your dealer re-check the order number he gave you?. And quite possible on the reuse of dealer entered order numbers. Mine is the first initial of my last name with a suffix of 123. Must be a few of those I'd think after time.

 

And as said, my dealer even gave me my VIN# 1FT8W3************

Still no workie on either tracking site, so they have issues, no doubt.

 

Delivered to Dealer today - 2/6/17. Exactly when Dealer said it would be delivered.
