Just wondering for the guys with the messaging seat is a Morse code you feel in the *** or a sync feature to the phone? What does the seat tell you?
To be honest with you, reminded me of my date with Cindy Crawford. I picked her up from a commercial shoot on the Big Island of Hawaii an went to dinner. Turned out our hotels were almost next to each other on the beach. I was tired and has just flown in from DC that day, she said I looked stressed and would I like a massage. I said yes and yes.
LMAO it's one truck. Guess you don't read comments in threads cause there are several others that have posted and said their leather seats are tight and how it should look.
brother its not just one truck .. get real its chitty craftsmanship and poor product .. my seats suck too .. wrinkled as hell .. I guess now theres two .and I do read al the post usually that relate to my truck .

So did you complain and have them fix it. **** happens and I'm sure every make has brand new vehicles to hit dealership lots where a couple of them aren't up to standards or something wrong with them. These are built by humans and guess what humans make mistakes but they can also fix them.
poor quality , brings ,chit happens , good quality. less chit happens . its that simple , for 80 k . I expect good quality . nothing less . and deffinately will say what I feel . its not a gm vs ford thing by no means . its good vs bad .. seats are bad , many may not say it .cause afraid of retribution on this site . but I care less , I tell it like it is . I expected much higher standards for an upper tier truck .from any manufacturer . sorry ,
So since you didn't answer my question I take it that you didn't have your seats fixed. So since you didn't why bitch about it? And I've seen a lot of '17 super duty from Liarats, KR, and plantinums and not once have I seen seats like the OP. So yes in his case **** did happen and he should talk to the dealership and have it fixed.
IMHO this issue should have not made it past ford's QC, it's not under the hood or under the truck, it's not a media door, it's right in front of you when the driver's door is opened. So who ever did the final cosmetic inspection ether had a bad day or needs retraining. Unacceptable at any trim level.

I totally agree but instead of posting on a truck forum I would be at the dealership raising hell to get it fixed.

Yep, your absolutely right!! For myself this may have delayed acceptance till ford agreed to replace. But I guess paying $ 75 to $80 grand for a truck buy's some measure of complaint on FTE.
Just for the record, my dealer is 40 mi away and worse is in the opposite direction that I travel. So I have a list of items to be done or fixed and and the seats are on the list along with a few other things to be done this month.

yes my passanger seat has a new skin on it , due to the seams coming apart .as for the wrinkles ,loose leather .that will have to be addressed in the spring as my truck is in my heated storage till spring .then it will have to be addressed . if theres anything that they can do . I doubt it .seams like l=just the way the leather is . all the seats are wrinkled . dought ford got all them made wrong .. maybe . truck has 1600 miles .. not even a oil change yet mind you .
A buddy just took delivery on his Platinum F350 SRW and the rear seat had the loose leather on upper corner. He made the dealer guarantee either they or Ford would fix it to his satisfaction, in writing, before he'd take the truck. The dealer finally caved in and said okay. They, too, took pics and sent them into Ford. It only took about 3 days and Ford said they would replace the seat. Thanks to all in this forum for the posts so he was aware of posted problem items.
I have a King Ranch and the seats are perfect. Nothing like those pictured above. I would be telling the dealership that those seats are totally acceptable on a 20 year old truck, but,,, a $80,000 truck... not hardly.
Exactly well put. Of course if we don't bitch. Why would they fix anything. We desearve what we paid for. High end everything. That's the way I see it.
