If you're looking for new parts, I would suggest Rockauto.com, I can find stuff there for my 89' that I havent been able to find anywhere else.
Of course, you could always find a donor off craigslist or a wreck at the junkyard.
I wish I could but the nearest junk yard if over 50 miles away. I was hoping to find used seats and all so I won't be spending a fortune on the old 97.
The only way to be sure that all the parts are the same color is to buy a parts vehicle as previously stated, or you could buy misc color parts and plan to repaint to a single color.
2 words..........parts truck........otherwise you are going to be spending a small fortune and a lot of time trying to find "everything" piece by peice
I'd go so far as to say just get a new truck and use whatever parts you can from the current truck when you need them. Or part it out. Did anything besides the aesthetics get burned?
Chances are you will be buying a parts truck to get EVERYTHING
I totally agree. The cheapest way would be either a salvage yard or a parts truck. Once, I found a wrecked truck at a salvage yard that had a complete interior in pretty good condition, & was even the right color. To get what you're looking for, the 50 miles isn't a very significant drive, in my opinion. Call the salvage yard & ask about any 92-97 F-series (assuming your '97 is OBS). Crew cabs like yours are more rare. I don't know if the rear seats use the same bolt patterns as the front do, but if so, you might be able to put front seats from a parts truck in the rear.
Saving a burned truck.... daunting to say the least... I hope the wiring is intact.... Good luck!

Exactly. I drive almost 200 miles a day for my commute

Just a few wires that go to the third brake light and interior lights. I was able to get in and drive it after the fire. The radio was still playing, but the a/c vacuum lines was damaged.
Good luck man. I also drive 220 miles a day for work so 50 sounds like a breeze. I like the idea of calling the junkyard before you go but if the folks there are anything like they are here, "yeah we got that, come on down" will be the answer. I think it's carparts.com that lets you search part by part of junkyard inventory, by distance, price, condition...
Of course the jy has to participate. Some probably don't.
Just make sure you bring ALL your tools with you when you drive out to that junkyard. It would suck to realize that you need that low-profile 19/64" crowfoot wrench that you left at home 50 miles away!
