03 Ignition Powered Fuse
I'm looking for a fuse that only has power when the car is in ACC/on/or started. I checked the obvious ones like the radio, and such but they still get power even when the car is off.
Does anyone know of one? I'm using the AC fuse now, which gets power when the car is on, but not on ACC.

I'll have to check which fuse I used but just pull off a couple more fuses and meter them (power windows, rear window defroster, instrument cluster, wipers, etc. shouldn't have power). The radio has power because the clock is built into the radio.
Remember the '03 has accessory power for 10 mins after you shut off the vehicle so don't meter it after you just turned the ignition off.

I need one that goes off right away, it's for my XM Satellite Radio unit. The rear window defroster fuse had power no matter what, which I found odd. I spent about an hour searching before with the meter before I found the AC one.
I just got finished hunting again. It was the hardest fuse to get to, #1, but it works. It's for the windshield wiper/dash lights.

Congrats. I'm glad you found something that works. Now that I think about it, that must also be the one I'm hooked up on too because my detector turns off immediately (sorry it was 1 year ago so I don't remember).
Yeah most of those fuses are pretty tough to get at.
