failed booster question?

It had failed, the plastic that the rod runs through broke. It would seal and pass tests when pedal was on top part of stroke, but at 1/3-1/2 stroke and more, it was leaking around the broken plastic guide. It passed all of the tests, but had failed, keep in mind.
