This may take awhile. I am slow. Took me a month to put up the lift and get the cab off. Now that Collage Football is almost over I might speed up a bit. . ROLL TIDE . Thanks for the interest.
Mind me asking how much you paid for the truck? Did you know it had no compression on #8 at time of purchase?
I've seen a 6.0 sitting across from my wife's grandmom's house for years. I need to call around some salvage yards and get a salvage number, but I've been toying with the idea of picking it up (for the right price) and seeing if it can be rehabilitated for a profit.
Lots to plan on between now and then, so I'll be subscribing to this thread. Best of luck on the project.

I'm guessing not much is getting done this afternoon then!!
Roll Tide Roll!!! Maybe Bear will send down some direction & help, in the event Nick needs it. Oh yeah, the 6.0 can wait until Tuesday morning, it aint goin nowhere in the meantime.
Holy smokes Tideman! In for a dime, in for a dollar hu! So much better way to get to the engine on these trucks. Sorry I've been out of pocket lately, life has been busy. Congrats on the lift and ROLL TIDE!
Packagerjr, I picked up 3 sitting in a field. A 2005 f350 King Ranch, a 2006 f250 King Ranch, and this one 2007 f250 Lariat. Paid $9,000. For the bunch. The 2005 is up and running at a cost of around $300.00 the main thing was the IPR. 2006 has front end damage so don't know on that one. AND this on which is also an unknown. All had 250,000 to 275,000 miles on them. And yes I knew about the no compression on #8. Roll The Dice. .
