Need help selecting new rear end
Hey all,
89' F150, 302, 3.55 gears. I never tow nor haul, and am looking to change my rear end. Currently have an open 3.55, and have decided to go to 4.10. I will need a new carrier to go 4.10, and figure while I'm at it, i might upgrade from an open diff.
I use my truck for daily driving and just getting around on city roads. With 4x4, and built engine, I would like to upgrade from an open diff, and forego doing the front end to save some money, (for now) so what is a good diff to go with? I just want to keep both wheels planted when I go on the occasional red light sprint, and something that offers more traction since I'm not doing the front right now.
