Took this picture at work, we have a lot of new trucks go through the shop. These guys got parked next to each other almost perfectly and thought it was a perfect photo opportunity.
Left to right:
2017 Ford F-250 6.2 4x4 Ex-cab short bed
2017 Chevrolet 3500 6.0 4x4 regular cab chassis (60" Cab to Axle)
2015 RAM 5500 6.7 4x4 regular cab chassis (108" Cab to Axle)
Look at the amount of exposed tire left to right under the bumper. Levels or not that should be equal.
Chances are one of the rear duals is on part of a snow pile it was backed into. When it was parked up front before being checked in it was sitting perfectly level.
I see, based on the mirrors, that the Fiat is towing a ghost trailer.
Haha! Typically I would agree. But that truck had a 14' flatbed on it with a headboard for consignment purposes. They sold the truck and we took the bed back. So the mirrors were flipped out when the flatbed was on the truck and being driven back to the dealer.
Dang....even after all these years....that chrome Chevy bumper is just hideous in my opinion. I know a few guys that went with the GMC just because the Chevy bumpers are so big and ugly. Is it the same damn designer from 2007 that everyone is afraid to tell him..."dude....really...the bumper????" LOL
Looks Like Its related to Obama .....LOL the ugliest clown I ever seen
The White Ford is so damm sexy
The Dodge Looks like it stuck in mid 90s
p.s Why do dodge guys do that to mirrors when they ain't towing so Gay...............

I've added it to my short list of pet peeves. I can't stand it. I live in an area where the roads are very narrow and curvy, but I am not lying when I say every dam time I leave the house to go somewhere I see a stupid dodge/Ram/Fiat coming my way with it's damn mirrors tumbled out. Meanwhile I collapse mine in so I don't make contact with anyone.
What is it with those idiots? I think they just don't like those stupid mirrors when they are horizontal. I still can't believe they put those mirrors on those trucks. But I bet half of them do it because they think it makes their trucks look tougher.
In fairness, both the Ford and Chevy look like toys compared to the RAM 5500.
I have zero problems with the looks of the RAM trucks. If I drove one, you can bet I'd have the mirrors out. It looks better and the rear view is better, towing or not.
I've always driven my Super Dutys with the mirrors fully extended. I tow fairly frequently, but regardless, the only time I'd retract or fold them would be at a drive-through. With my dually now, its almost a requirement.
The Chevy does look relatively small...although a DRW 3500 truck typically is going to sit lower because of shorter tires.
The mirrors are much easier to see out of when folded up on the dodge. Plus, the mirrors are still better than fords terribly out dated body style. I don't have brand loyalty, i just go for whats the best (in my opinion) at the time, and ford hasn't been the nicest for quite some time. Im glad ford finally changed body styles, now i can have a 6.7 in a truck that doesn't look 17 years old!
