My front end alignment guy here has been really good to me. He aligns my truck and then has me come back every year and checks it for free. Anyway, he can sell me any tire made but keeps insisting and bragging on these tires. Every year he will also rotate and balance them. He said that they can handle the load of 4,200 lbs. tongue weight I have on the 5er, tough sidewall that will not bludge much which I don't need with limited space between the dually tires. Any opinion on these tires? Thanks!
Hey Glenn
I have those on the 96 and the 2012. Only thing is they seem a little too soft on the tread and wear out relatively fast for the mileage. I will be looking at some others. Keeping them aired up right and taking turns slower helps. My problem is not taking turns slow.
soft? huum. He said they were high mileage tires. I don't really care a whole lot about high mileage as I do about how tough they are. This kind of pin weight worries me. Rock, I just got a Mobile Suites and they are really heavy in the front. Thanks for the replies.
Glenn
I have 35's on the F350 and I have a 38RK Winnebago I tote with it. The key is keep the air pressure up in them. If they get a little low the side walls play/sway with a load. Mine are 3760 LB at 80 psi cold
