Not any 78 I ever seen up here. Maybe higher trim levels as mine was an XLT. My dad's 1 ton dually was an XLT and it had the square lights. Up here in Canada, maybe we didnt get them until 79. I know my dad's 1 ton was a custom order from factor, dump box and box sides and lift installed by "Ribchester" in Richmond, BC (near Vancouver).

Beautiful trucks! My first truck was a '79 F series, candy apple red with a 351 Windsor and 3 speed manual on the floor. I loved that truck! Yours, and my memories of mine, makes me want to go find one and rebuild it.

Nice trucks, my dad had a 1977 red F150 that i bought from him. I switched engines with a 74 station wagon that i totaled out a few months earlier. That was the 351 Cleveland, which i remember was a really tight fit. I like the visor, does anyone remember the faring they used to put on the back of the cab? I looked for them and can't find it. I think Lund used to make them.

Love the 78/79 body style. I have a 78 bronco that I got in the mid 90's. Definitely my favorite body style until the super duty came out.
you don't see too many stepsides any more, very nice truck.
I'd love to have a 79 F250 SC with the snow fighter package and a 460 some day.
i don't know what I would do with it, but I want one.
