It's been a month since I bought the EX, and just noticed this today There is a microphone like thingy that's clipped onto the top left corner of my windshield under the sun visor. And I noticed that there's a Mute/Drop phone call kinda switch on my radio (stock radio). Did the '00 EX come with a built in handsfree phone option???
It is a microphone for a bag phone or permanently installed cell phone. I had one a long time ago.look under the seats for a black box with a coax cable and 2 writes coming out of it. You might be able trace the wire to it if it is still in the truck.

Yep...i recognize that too. Its a bag phone micro phone. Iirc it was a two wire connection with a white end. The one I had was just the microphone, that plugged into the bag phone. So its not likely the bag phone is still in there...just the end of the plug for the microphone.
