How do I tell if my wireset is ECM or not?

What wire set and what is ECM?

If you want to know if you have computer control, look at the distributor. If it has a vacuum advance can and a vacuum line going to the dist, no. If you don't have a vacuum can and a vacuum line, yes, you have a computer somewhere. There are several flavors of ECM though.

ECM = Engine Control Module ...... got it now.


I was thinking he may have been talking about spark plug "wire set" and could not figure what ECM was!
