I have an 89 Ford Bronco that is an E4OD being swapped to a M5OD. I know I need new driveshafts to complete the swap. From what I have found the front needs to be shortened and the rear needs to be lengthened. I can get the front shortened rather cheap but the only shop around wants to charge around 375 to extend the rear. Does anyone know if the f150's have the same driveshaft yoke as the bronco? Could I find a longer driveshaft from an f150 and just have it shortened? Like i said, I can get one shortened for cheap. It's just an a and a leg to get one extended. Or does anybody know if you can use a driveshaft from another vehicle that's yokes are the same? I'm just looking for something I can use to either be the size I need or longer so I can get it shortened.
You bought one for a bronco or f150? And can I get a link to the site you bought yours off of? I tried to look on broncograveyard and I can't get it shipped to Alaska. Then I tried to go to autozone and o'reillys as well as other part stores and no one could order one for me.
I bought 1 for a 78 Bronco. I dont have a link for the manufacturer. It was actually a seller on e-bay. I will try to find my receipt and get you the name.
