The Meteor had its hood closed both times that I walked by and was in a photo shoot with the pin up girls so the info plaque and stand were moved. Was curious if it was a flattie or a chev motor.

She was to pretty and was under 160 pounds so she didn't qualify for the pin up girl contest, it was more of a cattle call contest. A few of the car owners were blocking shots of their cars and the guy with the 52 Buick Super Estate Wagon Model 59 would only let you have a postcard size picture of his car. I managed to get a front on photo but thats all, he blocked the other 2 shots I took.

This is the card he was passing out, I got a 2 year subscription to garage shots magazine, there's only 2 issues per year and ran me $84 but its a high quality mag with heavy bond pages all the way through, not a lot of small ads and really good photo layouts .

The newer cars and strange stuff seemed to have the big crowds and I basically just ignored it as its not my thing to have a car with a fake turbine in the trunk and newer cars are to generic looking. Most of them looked like they had been ordered from the dealership with lots of bling, big rims and covered motors.

That blue bike is my favorite bike, what plans do you have for your Perry chopper? While I`m not usually into model cars Roy`s fas gas display is pretty neat.

The blue bike is a 58 pre unit frame like my frame, I'll be doing something fairly close to that one. The differences will be no seat pad, I'll be keeping my springer forks, the handle bars that I have, the rear fender will get bobbed, gas tank will be the same and I'll probably paint it black with old school flames on the tank and Von dutch style pinstripping details on the fenders. I might paint it a really dark metallic red and get pinstripping as thats a color and design that I like.

I like the dark metallic red colour, do you have any internet pictures of the style you want to build?

I`m not familiar with the bobber style chopper but I can Google it Perry. Hope it`s ready for you in time for this summer.

It won't change much from how it looks now just add a small bike seat and a small gas tank, put on a set of straight pipes that end before the rear tire and paint

Cool. I noticed that some of those bikes had the exhaust pipes wrapped, what is that for? To retain heat or to keep from burning legs on the pipes or?

To stop from burning your legs and some people think it adds power like it does when you wrap headers in a car. It doesn't add power unless you're thinking in tenths of a horse.
