Started at noon and have the shed trimmed out and after this break I start to put on panels, warm enough to work without a jacket on and the sun is shining.

Shut the day down at 5 when the light started to fade, managed to get about 2/3 of the job done and should be done tomorrow.

The sun has been done for almost 3 hrs and it's really cooled off after a nice day.
I have a 53, 54 and 55 grills if you want something to do. A friend really did a nice number in the grill that`s going into my rest rod. Is resto rod the proper term for a modified vehicle John?

A 54 is the only grill I don't have, Going to modify this 53 and put 56 rings on it for the custom look and might do the same for the 55 grill I have, I still have the chrome 56 grill that came with my pickup too..

Here I thought you found a new project John.
Guess resto rod isn't a proper term.

The restomod is a relatively recent phenomenon in the collector-car world. As a counterpoint to the “survivor” craze, these new cars mix old and new technology to create the best of both worlds, matching classic styling with modern comfort, performance and reliability.

From the internet Morris,I guess I have a couple of restomods...

So building a restorod is what's been happening in the hot rod hobby since after the war, amazing how times haven't changed. Lol
