Need. Help
An suggestions on how to remove steering column out of a 51 Ford F1 someone has broken a bolt off in the steering wheel so I can't use a puller and I am unable to pull the steering wheel off to get the column out any advice would be greatly appreciated

In the old days ,I had a round steel ring with a cut out in it just large enough to fit over the column ,then using a simple three jaw puller onto the ring under the wheel gets it off no problem .Should not be hard to improvise something

Orrrrr... ;-) you could loosen the center nut a turn or two, leaving it on so you don't smack yourself in the face, plant your feet firmly on the floor and grabbing the spokes near the hub, wiggle and pull until it pops loose. Sometimes it helps to have a second person to whack the top of the nut with a hammer but don't go to crazy and mangle the threads (even with the nut still on it's possible.)

I used a harmonic balancer puller to get my steering wheel off I had to get two fine thread bolts
