Pretty much Shawn. Last day of the semester is the 21st. University closes at the end of business on the 22nd and wont reopen until January 2nd.

 

bummer.. guess you could take your re-enactment gear in with you and polish all the silver on it till its shiny...

 

Cant do that Shawn. I still have to work while the university is closed. I work in the only department that does not close on campus. Although I do need to polish the brass fittings on the musket as well as the barrel, the bayonet, and I also need to polish the brass on the rifle.

 

Not too bad. The biker ministry had their Christmas dinner Saturday evening, so I ate like a blithering idiot as is custom. They presented me with many things, and I ate them all.


Sunday I took it easy at the house, played some board games with my older daughter while the younger one napped, ate tacos that evening, and watched Close Encounters of the Third Kind while working on a plastic model of a 1st gen Datsun 240Z.

 

Sounds good James. I went on my days off and bought stuff for the truck, and a new item to collection.

somewhat... made the day go by a little faster.. but still here at work...

 

I know how that is Shawn. I am waiting for Thursday and Friday. new Star Wars movie Thursday night and I can pay off my layaway on Friday as well as enjoy a nice concert Friday night.

A new addition to teh weapons collection. Onece I pay it off I get to wait another 7 days for the state.

 

ahhh... wish i was adding some to my collection.. instead i spent the monay on lil dually..

 

I am only adding one to the collection. a 1911 from Springfield Armory. Have to finish paying for the last few things for the truck which will be installed on Thursday.

 

i want some new long guns.. rifle, pump shotgun.. ect ect..

 

I have one rifle. It is a muzzleloader .45 caliber, 2 shotguns, and 2 smoothbore muskets for long guns.
