That would be a lot better than being under Chinese control.

 

So true George. Now I know the King only wants to charge a few small taxes to pay for the defense of the colonies. They are by far cheaper then what the other colonies pay.

 

Does this mean that I'll have to learn to drive on the "wrong side" of the road??

 

Of course certain things will have to change George. Like the use of the standard system of measurements. That will be changed to metric. So instead of Gallons it will be litres. And of course proper English spelling of words like colour, grey, etc. And then of course driving on the proper side of the road. Which is the left side of the road.

 

We will have to educate the police too. They don't like it when you drive on the proper side of the road. All road signs would have to be changed too. There might be some stashed somewhere, from the 1970's when the colonies were supposedly going to the metric system.

 

Exactly George. It will be a big change but it is doable in a few years time. And of course the education system will have to change to accomdate teaching the metric system.
