I don't want one with all different colored lights and a complicated book to make it work.

The one I put in the panel came with an encyclopedia and it's a piece of chit and I would like to change it out for a different one...

Peoria has the 75 foot law. If noise being emitted from a vehicle can be heard 75' away its a $150. fine. Was imposed to stop the getto cruisers from disturbing the peace. No, it didn't work, the cops have to pull them over.
