Ok so the 68 f250 4wd that I posted pics of is coming along great! Pulled the Dana 60 4:10 gears, freshened it up with new brakes, drums, bearings,cyls, and new factory correct leaf springs. Check out General Spring for great products! Working on restoring the closed knuckle 44. Yup.. keeping it clean and somewhat original. So... this truck had a 460 installed, not by me. I'm looking at headers and there are alot of nightmare experiences with most manufactures! So with this set up.. stock highboy height, 4speed, no body lift skinny steel wheels, has anyone tried the l&l fender well headers on a basically non modified early highboy with a 460? Pics would be much appreciated! Thanks.
Love the general springs, u bolts, and shackles. Butter smooth suspension travel. Freshening up with new king pin bearings and closed knuckle seals, shims, and felt wipers. Day i brought it home, lil body wrot and a very sound frame and underbody for a 68 living in wisconsin. Picked up a correct grille too.
