I needed a new bumper after backing into something, and I certainly didn't want to get a worthless factory one, so I went with one of these. I wasn't sure I'd like the look on the truck but after seeing it installed I really do.

I'd like to know what seat covers these are as well. My truck was ordered what leather but I want to protect the factory stuff against kids and a dog. I've used marathon covers in the past and they were awesome but would like to stick with leather this time.
That's what I meant. Personally, I prefer the Ford step even if it takes a second to set up. But now you have both!
Don't get me wrong I *love* the ford step.... when going up and down repeatedly. But a one-shot hop up in and out these are nice. Though the truck is so high it's hard to get up in pants lol. (Thank goodness for fat-guy shorts.)
Did you have to take the side badges off for this?
Could you tell me how?
Thanks
The LED'S are from Ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/311657127552...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT . There's enough lip on the badge to conceal them. I tried to take the badge off but was afraid I would break it. The space behind the badge is a closed pocket, so I drilled a hole up at an angle, thru the badge upper corner and the metal Behind. Behind that is some sound dampening weave, yes weave. Drill just enough to get thru the metal or the weave will try to tap around the bit. Use some shrink tubing for additional insulation where the wires go thru the metal hole.
I had to use a clothes hanger like a drain snake to get thru it. Then attached thin speaker wire by taping it parallel on the hangar and pulled it back thru. It takes some patience and a little fishing. I was able to tap off the side marker light in front of the driver's battery. I removed the battery and put a leather glove over the positive wire as it's connected to the other battery as well.
These lights have clear shrink tube over them and don't have a sticky back, so I recommend the 3m stuff with the red backing that peels off. Youll have to trim the length. It's 3 LEDs then an area to cut then 3 LEDs and so on. It's a pretty cheap and nice looking mod. It does take some patience and also 18 feet of wire tubing from Walmart.
