Nav Steering Wheel Question

I have found a sweet steering wheel for $100. They claim I also need the air bag($50) as mine won't fit.

So here's the facts. a 2002 Nav steering wheel with radio controls going in a 2000 Excursion XLT with only radio controls. Not a big issue if the buttons won't work atm...

It's in real good shape so $100 is very reasonable IMO. It's the bag I'm questioning. I suppose I could sell my old one after. My wheel has been under a cover "some" so it looks worse than if they had left it alone.

Hope to hear back soon, as I need to pounce if you guys give me the ok. I had purchased another used one but it was too worn for my use so I sent it back.

Thanks

Awaiting a quote but with a deposit of $200, I assume it will be WAY more than $150. I am not interested in all of the other "bling", just the steering wheel.

You only need the wheel.

Apoc is correct, all you need is the steering wheel. The airbag from your vehicle will fit on the Navigator wheel. The color between the steering wheel and your air bag may be the only difference.

You may want to inquire about the clock spring as it will bring the wiring from the steering wheel buttons through the column to where you can use them. If you decide to use them you will need either the clockspring from the Navigator or one from an Excursion that has the radio and climate control buttons.

Thanks guys, I doubt I'll hook up the extra ctls. My arm reaches everything fine now, and I'm not big on fiddling. I usually have it on to my whole iTunes library and just click to the next song if I don't want to hear the current random selection. Very little radio unless a game is on.
