Heater doesnt work??!

I have a 92 F-150 302, and one day a heater hose got a tear in it so I replaced it and this morning it was cool out so I turned in the heater for the first time this summer and it just blew cold air??! I checked the fuse in the fuse box and that was ok and the heater hoses are hot so thats not the problem..any ideas??

I had the same problem with my 89. When I pulled the controller out to change it I found the conections burnt out.

Check the blower motor housing, on my 89 there is a vacuum controled valve that either allows heat from the heater core to the fan or outside air to it. That is unless you have noticed an antifreeze residue on the windshield or a puddle on the passengerside floor, if this is the case it`s time for a heater core
