2003 F350 Dual Shock mount hoops +2"
Howdy,
I've had my 7.3 since it had 80k on it, back in 07'. It came with dual Fox Shox mounted to unknown brand hoops, on an 8" lift.
Cruising back from MO earlier this month I heard a little ticking, so I pulled over to inspect and found my passenger side mount had broken in half at two of the up-rights and was wanting to snap the 3rd mount point (no-*****, eh?). I removed the assembly and came home, sent the shocks off for rebuild and ordered new BDS mounts.
I got the new mounts and they are about 1.5-2" shorter then the ones I pulled off. Shocks will overdrive by .5".
I made a call from the place where I bought them and they couldn't help me over the phone, not for lack of trying, so I driving back up there. CO. Springs.
Questions:
Does anyone have a setup with taller mounts then OEM?
If so what type?
Does anyone know a good speed/offroad shop that might be able to help out?
