Hey guys this weekend I was out at my farm with my truck and I had to do a lil bogg'n in some mud. I had to give my truck alot of hell to get outa a drainage ditch.... Truck has aprox 70,000 miles, but I don't know the exact miles cause prev owner disconnected the OD. The truck still shows less than 36,000 miles.
The tranny is acting up now.. It is like the torque converter won't lock up. When you slow down in either 1st or 2nd gear the engine just goes down to idel. Even at 50 + mph.... The converter will not stay coupled..
My question is if i take it in to the dealer will they be able to tell that the milage is 70,000 aprox ?? If so I don't want to deal with fraud or anything.
i dont think they will i have used the IDS and it wont pull it up i dont think but a car fax might tell them but they prob wont mess with that its out of warranty, unless it was extended if it is warrenty that will be a problem

I find it kinda entertaining someone digging up 5 year old questions. Course I am suffering from cabin fever and old age, so it don't take much to make me giggle.
