On my last SUV I had a set of 22" chrome wheels that I only used in the spring/summer months and after a few years the chrome started to chip off even though I took excellent care of them and stored them inside. How durable are some of the new truck wheels that are popular on the market like fuel, hostile, etc? Do they hold up well over time in the black finishes? Do they hold up when used year round?
I run a set of 20" KMC XD 775 Rock Stars in the matte finish on my 2012 F-250 since I have had it and they look just as good as when I put them own.....

I agree with Troverman. The new a PVD wheels look like chrome without the rust issues of regular chrome wheels, which are steel. PVD is more like a powder coat finish that looks like real chrome.
