99 SD Cummins

Hi all,I have a 99 SD that I put a Cummins in 5 yrs ago. It had an auto trans, which now is junk. I have a nv4500 to put in out of a Dodge. My question is do I use the Dodge clutch master, and slave cyl. or the F

ord set up? Would like to stick with Ford parts if possible. Thanks

I used the Ford master and Dodge slave (technically it is a jeep one). Russell makes fittings to adapt the master/slave to a -3 AN line which makes things really easy.

Thanks Joe, I have been working on it, so haven't been on here. I was able to take the pins out, and swap the slave cyls. Now I have to work on drive shafts to fit, pedal, speedometer,reverse lights, any suggestions would be appreciated. Al

Speedometer is measured off the rear diff.

Clutch pedal bolts right in, about $100 for a new one. Part number F81Z7B633EE

Thanks, got everything working, what do most do for drive shafts, from Dodge to Ford?

Ok, got everything in, but clutch not working, pedal is too high, goes to the floor, used a slave cyl. with a bleeder, still won't work. I have installed lots of hyd. clutches, but never had this problem. Any help?
