"Small Modiications"!
Ordered a Super Cab Lariat on 7 April, truck built on 7/14, supposed ETA of 7/25.
As of today the dealer is told "unofficially" (one friend to another) that Ford is making "small modifications". No details, no new ETA.
Dealer offered to place a new order which I found surprising.
Opinons?

Either "come clean" with some FACTS or shove that truck where the sun never shines. You're being treated like some type of second class moron. I would NOT go back. PERIOD. It's called "catering to the consumer," and you're being treated like dirt. This dealer knows why your truck has not been delivered. And if he does NOT, it wouldn't take much of an effort to learn the truth. He's being lazy.

If Ford is having problems with your truck, they'll NEVER come clean about it. It ain't just Ford, it's 21st-century Corporate America. Suddenly one day, the truck will show up at the dealership: no reasons, no explanations. That's just the way it is, and it will never change. And I'm speaking from about 17 years experience in this business.
