I garaged mine too for the winter. Only take it out when its nice.
I fluid filmed mine twice in six months. I was going to do it again late fall but decided to buy a winter truck. I would like mine to last as long as possible.
I have a 2000 chevy suburban which I love but for the rust holes. It drives me nuts. My plan is to take the new truck to TX in the winter and live there and then come back once the salt is gone.

Known is a great product I do all my trucks and vans once a year my 1999 e 350 van with 625,000kms was krowned early and only had 2 rust spots in the 2 front fenders about the size of a dime when it went to the junkyard
You can also get it in spray can I buy it by the case and use it on my side by side and sleds during off season they look like new still
I'm seriously interested to see how these aluminum bodies are going to hold up to rust and corrosion, especially in the salt belt.
Take a look at Mercedes Benz, Audi, Land Rover, and other aluminum body vehicles for comparison. I am so looking forward to not seeing the rust line at the bottom of the door.

I agree. The long-time, full-aluminum construction player is Audi with the A8 (since 1997 in the USA). We had a 1999 A8 4.2L that spent its entire life in New England salt. Not a spec of rust anywhere, never undercoated with anything.
I've had a bunch of Land Rover / Range Rover vehicles. The exteriors were *mostly* aluminum but some specific parts were steel...and the aluminum exterior was only a skin mounted to steel underneath. Galvanic corrosion was not terribly uncommon where the aluminum met the steel...made powdery white corrosion.
Finally, Jaguar has been doing full aluminum since the 2003 XJ...at least on that model. They don't rust.
I'm quite certain these new AL Fords will not rust on the body. Its going to be great.

It's a 160 mi. trek from my location in NJ. Never used Krown before, but willing to give it a try. I'll use the excuse that I'm building up a few miles before hitting the road with my 5th wheel.
2017 F-350 Lariat CC dually with bling, expected Jan. 11.
I'm going to try ProFleetCare. Simliar to Krown in that it's an oil based solution. We've got a guy right here in town that has a franchise. He actually brings his spray rig to you if you want, as it's on a trailer. He supposedly does pretty much all the town barns and bus garages in the area. I know a guy who has been using him for his personal vehicles for years and very happy with the results.
This might seem crazy to many of you but I'm sure there are some "nuts" out there who like me - will keep their 2017 Super Duty for a very long time and couldn't stomach taking it out in winter road salt. Salt destroys them period!
Winter Plan - once the salt trucks start spreading - Garaged, waxed and no salt! Enjoy the heck out of it the other 8-9 months of the year.
Rationality - They are damn expensive, want to keep it like new for the next 20 years! I'm sure I can make due with the 925 ft/lbs and 440 HP for a long time despite future "advances" - What's your plan?
Merry Christmas everyone!!!
That's what I did with my 2002 F250 Diesel Lariat when I retired. It's been kept in a heated garage all winter except maybe for an occasional drive if the roads are clear of snow and salt. Truck is now 15 years old with 80K miles and still looks like new. But now thinking about replacing it with a new F250 diesel Lariat or maybe even a Platinum. Al
