Here are some pics I didn't even have time to look under the hood. Does this look like it has a suspension lift or body lift of an inch or two

You lucky dog you. The front bumper does not show a body lift, it could be raised also though. Nor do you have the bed to frame rail gap from a body lift.

Rear bumper seems to be in it normal place. It also can be raised to keep the body lift gap to a minimum.

Are those 33x12.50 or 35's? I bet 33's and the truck is stock. Count the front leaf springs, if there are just 2 leafs then I'd for sure say its stock.

Norman get on the Mo chapter, and brag that rig up. Last one there buys the 1st round. lol JK. Nice truck.

Ol blue truck back in the day with 35's and 4" chassis lift.

Looks stock height. However need more pictures of underhood and interior to give you a definitive answer.

beautiful ride. Are 33s the biggest tires they will take with no lift?
I haven't been with my truck since the day I got it and won't be for a couple hours and I forgot to check what size the tires or. I only was with it for about an hour

Thanks, yea back in the day is was pretty slick, now it needs some TLC.

33x12.50's should fit no problem. 34's maybe (but 34's are not common size). 35's are common and not so much in the fit dept on a stock 77-79 with 2 front leaf front leaf spring "Lowboy".

33's Maybe a little to close for comfort on the front fender lip if you off road it and flex it up.

I have 33x12.50x16.5's on the silver truck and added a add-a leaf on the front to give me a little more front fender clearance and get it a little closer to being leveled out.

No matter, what you have a very sharp truck. Now make some time to bond with it and take some pics of that bad boy. lol

Nice for sure. one tank, not too common. one piece back window. I like those more. Fullrace track trim and no trim on back of cab. Not sure that I have ever seen that configuration either. have fun with that one.

Sweet truck, you are a lucky man. Enjoy that beauty. FWIW being that it is a Ranger trim package truck, it should at least have the chrome drip rails on the cab. The chrome belt line trim I believe were for trucks that had a two tone roof. I agree that the truck is at stock height as well. If you want to lift the truck it's best to either add a leaf or get re-arched spring packs. And stay away from lift blocks. And love the spray in liner. Do you know what brand it is?

What is that white tube sticking out from the drivers side of the motor? It looks like it should have a cap.

I wont lift it unless I was going to use it on the farm and I guess I wont be doing that. I kind of decided against using it as a work truck when i saw it (Ive never had a truck I didnt use for work ; I'm using my excursion to haul logs lately). Then everyone on FTE freaked out at the thought I would use it for work so that confirmed it for me. The 33s barely clear the fenders but they do clear

That's a newer style power steering pump and reservoir. You could probably get a new cap that will have the dipstick attached to it at your local Oreillys in the help section.

The white tube is the power steering reservoir, and yes, it should have a cap. The cap will have a dipstick built in. You can get one in the HELP section of the auto parts store

Use only the correct fluid-it's actually hydraulic fluid, and it needs to be capped as it will suck moisture from the air
