My cuestión to you guys is:

I hace a 2009, 5.4L E350 Super Duty XL with over 100,000 miles on it. The Transmission was worked by Ford just before warranty was over (58,000/60,000). At that time the reverse died. Now at over 100,000 I'm having issues again. First it started to shudder... They say it was the torq converter but then said the tranny needed to be repair anyway. I have an older van, I think with a c6... Would it be possible to use that one? I was once told it was not possible because electronic marrying between the transmission and the engine. Also I wanna ask. Sincei I know this van came with an 4r75e or a torqshift 5r110... Are these two easily interchangeable? (Using the actual computer on my van,wiring harness ect) . Does the computer needs to be programmed or it just knows if it has a 4r75e or 5r110? Or just save the money to repair mine... I hear these new tranny are weaker compared to older ones...
