I just bought a 2017 F350 Lariat FX4 with the ultimate lariat package. I didn't get the technology package that adds the 360 camera option. My friend bought the same truck and has the 360 camera option and I love it. I see how beneficial it would be with my truck having a 6" lift. I called the dealer and the service advisor said they can't add this. Does anybody know if I could add, and where I could take the truck to add this option?
You can probably add it in all reality, but you would need to do all the wiring, all the cameras, and then find someone to program all this into your sync. Dealership won't touch that and the cost would be ridiculous. Better to just purchase an aftermarket camera for whatever cameras you want. They have some decent multi camera systems out there.

I'll look into after market options. I wish I could send it back to ford, the technology package was $1775 ish and that was adaptive cruise control also.
What would the loss be on that? $5k or more?
I love this truck. That's my buddies truck, not lift more options.
Not to hi-jack your thread, but what did you do to install the rear SOTA center caps on your truck? The new axle is slightly larger and the cap doesn't fit easily. What did you do to make it work?

I bought it this way from the dealership. I wish I had the answer for you. It has a 6" pro comp lift. I chose to buy it this way from the dealer that way it's all under warranty.
If you can get on ETIS and see if your truck has the "IPMB Image Processing Module B (IPMB)" module then i would say all you need to do is a reprogram along with add the cameras.
If you do not have the IPMB module then likely you dont even have the correct wiring either. And then this will be a big task of adding wires, plus the IPMB module along with all the cameras and reprogramming.

Hope this helps.
Yes thank you, the service advisor mentioned something about adding a module or 2 but that was without knowing anything about my truck. That's probably what he was referring to.
