I have a 93 F150 xlt 302, 5spd 3.55's SWB. Gas mileage has averaged 8-12 no matter what ive replaced or tested and recently its been gutless and idling differantly..so last electrical and mechanical part i havent tested or replaced is the ECM. But i see several options for this truck, I wont trust the number on the old one not knowing if its the correct one or not for this truck. SO which one should be for my truck?
Not 100% sure but it might mean a rebuilt computer number at the Ford dealer.
You might ask Number Dummy to find out for sure.
Just go by the F2TF-12A650-ABA at an auto part store or a salvage yard.
Sometimes on the internet they might use the Ford part number of F2TZ-12A650-ABA but Ford never puts the part number on a part.
Note in a search some leave out the 12A650 part as all PCM Computers have that base number.

Maybe list what you've done, maybe you accidently overlooked something.
If you tested all the sensors, that usually involves some testing of reference from the ECM, was it to spec?
cylinder compression test, leak down done, fuel pressure?
An auto ECM will work if you don't mind a cel or don't have visual inspections.
8-12 mpg is horrible, my 5.8, 5 speed, 3.55 gets 18+
