Just wondering about people's recent experience with Gatorbacks Mud Flaps at $300-400 for a set (with brackets). I've read earlier posts but looking for reactions now that more options are available out there.
I'm wondering if they're worth the extra money versus a Weathertech set for a fraction. They're going on my "anytime delivery" F350 Platinum. I see a lot of snow and ice build up here in North Central Washington. Any input is welcome.

I have a full set of Gatorback Blue Oval mudflaps sitting in the box waiting for my turn with the new ride. They are heavy. They are sharp looking and they are expensive for what they do. When looking at the new ride yesterday the factory splash guards look ok but I do not think they are worth the $120 charged. Light weight and flimsy is my best description. I am sure they are very functional but do nothing for appearance and compared to the GB they are very short. To me, and this is before trial and before snow and before mud they are worth it for their looks alone. And since they were developed in northern Canada I am sure they are up to the task we are asking of them. I'll let you know after the first year if there function is up to their beauty.

Went the Gatorback route and very pleased, had weather tech on my 2015 SD and there is no comparison. The FX4 Badge complimenting the decals on the truck is definitely a WOW. However, as we all know my WOW maybe a WHY in someone else's world
Now if you just wondering if the quality justifies the price I would vote yes, the brackets themselves have to be costly to produce the aluminum has to be 1/4 thick on the component that attaches to the frame and the flaps themselves might out last the truck.
I ordered them as they seem substantial and well-built.
I feel like you need them more on this truck due to the retracting running boards. I've already heard a few rocks getting kicked up into the rocker panels.
Much appreciated everyone. I just watched the YouTube install videos for the Gatorbacks and agree with all of your comments. They look heavy duty and well-engineered. Will opt for the F-350 logo I think. Another box coming for the long-awaited SD.

There are a few companies carrying the full line from GB. I ordered mine direct from the manufacturer in Canada due to the full line selection. Due to Xmas shipping they took 10 days here to NY. You would lose half of that time on the west coast since the POE was SF. Great service and they answered some questions promptly before I ordered.
I don't know if anyone has covers this as I skipped some of the replays lol sorry but they also have a life time warrantee, according to my dealer I can take them a pice of my mud flap and they will replace it! See my thread for more info and pics/part numbers -> https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1461829-new-ford-heavy-duty-mud-flaps.html

Orondo,
Make sure when you are ordering the F350 flaps you get the newest style. The old F350 style comes with stainless steel hardware and you do not want that on the aluminum body.
Also the no-drill mounting brackets will be needed to make sure the flaps are properly secured on the truck. The wheel wells of the Super Duty do not have enough of a surface to correctly mount the flaps. The brackets are custom designed for the new Super Duty and are aluminum so you will have no issues with galvanic corrosion.

They do have a lifetime warranty on them, but make sure you save the plate on the flap that you are getting warrantied. You will get a new piece of rubber and will simply have to transfer the plate. That is very easy to do since there are 8 screws that hold the plate onto the flap.
Has anyone put these on a truck with larger than stock tires and aftermarket wheels? Just wondering about coverage on a 12.5" wide tire. Can they be adjusted outwards for offset wheels?
I'm ordering direct from Gatorbacks but appreciate the lead. The complete set (F&R) with the aluminum brackets and hardware is $404. They're super nice to deal with. Just got off the phone with them. Good to go.

I ordered my HD GB Blue Logo Flaps (ouch $$$'s). For all of you that talked me into it, please PM and I'll let you know how to send donations to help pay for them. :-)
Drove the SD in a snow storm 12 inches of snow.
kept the snow down on the ground where is belongs.
i got a small blast snow from the front wheel on the running boards below the drivers
door handle.
a lot better then the weather tech I had on my 11.
it would come up and coat both doors.
